IFlly, It was the Trump Administration that worked to collectively end the RC model aviation hobby as we knew it for decades. Congress concocted the plan, and Trump rammed it down our throats (or up our other ends if you prefer) by signing it into law. Why can’t you admit this is what happened ? Actually, YOU are the one blaming Congress in this and other threads at the defense of the FAA. You just conveniently leave out the important fact of how the desires of congress became reality. Because that wouldn’t sit well with the base now would it ? Just giving credit where credit is due is all - so please calm down. _____________________________________ Walksnail / Avatar … It’s better than analog ! • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 (17-Mar-2024, 04:12 PM)QuadFlyer68 Wrote: IFlly, It was the Trump Administration that worked to collectively end the RC model aviation hobby as we knew it for decades. Seriously? If Biden or Obama had signed it into law instead of Trump we would have never heard the end of it from each and every base hobbyist on every damn RC forum on the planet. Tell me that’s not a fact. _____________________________________ Walksnail / Avatar … It’s better than analog ! • Posts: 2,477 Threads: 76 Likes Received: 1,377 in 1,030 posts Likes Given: 802 Joined: Apr 2022 Reputation: 41 (17-Mar-2024, 02:42 PM)QuadFlyer68 Wrote: Trump signed it, but didn’t know what he was doing, so he gets a pass ??!!?? Not the best defense - FAIL! I, and most others seated in reality, will never accept that garbage. I always assumed all the people around him were there to instruct him how to spell his own name when he signed the document. Maybe send him a letter next year and ask him to repeal it, offer to teach him to fly. Trump flying FPV would be interesting and i'm sure he'd find some angle to wind up Elon with it. Potatoes and cabbage definitely. But isn't corned beef a South American thing? Not that i'm going to knock it since I have no clue what my ancestors ate on St Pats.
