BLHeli32 recommended firmware
#1
I have seen that in the Betaflight documentation there is a table with recommendations for ESC firmwares and the only BLHeli32 version that is recommended is the 32.7. The warning says: "Stuck motors, hot motors and unexpected behaviour have been observed in BLHeli_32 releases after 32.7. Betaflight recommends avoiding newer releases until a well-tested BLHeli_32 release is available". While for AM32 latest versions are recommended. Which ESC firmware versions do you run? Someone has flashed AM32 on his compatible ESCs?

I've been running BLHeli_32 32.7 to 32.9 for the past couple of years with no issues. I've not installed 32.10 on anything yet but it contains a fix for an issue whereby after a crash the motors on some setups wouldn't always restart properly when trying to re-arm the quad unless you physically disconnected and reconnected the LiPo which wasn't particularly useful if the quad had gone down some distance away and you needed to try and turtle mode and get it back in the air without needing to do a walk of shame to go and retrieve it manually.

Always run the latest firmware, I'm on 32.10, it added some mid range power to my micro setups. Running the latest prod firmware just allows you to not have problems you would of had but didn't know it Smile

The information available is a bit confusing. Can anyone solidly inform if the 32.10 firmware version is safe and without issues? Some ESCs do not yet have confirmation from the manufacturer that it can be updated on their ESCs, e.g. HW, on the contrary, Diatone and HGLRC have already given confirmation.

I have to say that I am confused... BF developers don't recommend the usage of any BLHeli32 firmware after 32.7 because they are not well tested... Could you share Diatone confirmation related to 32.10?
